Meta Healthcare Blacktown
Exercise physiology can help participants work on disability-related movement, stamina and confidence through an individual program designed around functional goals. Meta Healthcare focuses on practical movement that can support everyday routines and community participation.
Exercise physiology appointments in Blacktown may be arranged at Meta Healthcare’s accessible Westpoint location or, where suitable and available, in a home or community setting. We confirm practitioner availability and the most useful setting before booking.
Flexible appointments in Blacktown
An exercise physiologist considers how disability affects movement and daily function, then plans suitable activities that can be progressed safely. Support is individualised rather than based on a generic gym routine.
Your program starts with the activities you want to do more comfortably or independently. That could include moving around the home, tolerating longer community outings, improving balance for daily tasks or building a sustainable activity routine.
We explain each activity clearly, adapt it to your ability and review the program as your needs change. Families and other supports can be involved with your consent so strategies are easier to use between sessions.
Having a Blacktown base and mobile options can make it easier to connect an exercise program with the participant’s actual home and community routines.
Every participant’s service agreement is different. These are examples of support that may be included after we understand your goals, needs and available funding.

Exercise physiology appointments in Blacktown may be arranged at Meta Healthcare’s accessible Westpoint location or, where suitable and available, in a home or community setting. We confirm practitioner availability and the most useful setting before booking.
Before services begin, we discuss mobility, access, equipment, transport, communication and the functional goals to be addressed. This helps us confirm whether Westpoint or a mobile appointment is suitable for the participant.
We use a participant-first approach: you help choose the priorities, the people involved and the setting that feels most useful. Support Coordinators and Plan Managers are welcome to contact us with the participant’s consent.
Exercise physiology may be funded when it is a disability-related therapy support, meets NDIS funding criteria and is specifically included in your plan. Therapy funding is a stated support, so it cannot automatically be swapped for another service. We confirm your goals and funding before services begin and recommend checking your plan or speaking with your NDIS contact, Plan Manager or Support Coordinator.
Ordinary fitness costs and general wellness activities are not automatically NDIS-funded. The support must relate to the functional impact of disability and the funding in the participant’s plan.
Meta Healthcare can explain its service and pricing, but the NDIA decides what is funded. Please check the current plan and official NDIS guidance for your circumstances.
